Product Description:
This shirt features our representation of the 'Join or Die' political cartoon Ben Franklin originally drew and was published in the Gazette in May of 1754. His goal was to unite the colonists to combat the French and their Native American allies, and to convince the British government to support a unified colonial government in America.
Just a few years later, approaching the Revolutionary War, colonists reused the cartoon as a symbol of their unity against British rule.
